Then I Was... Now I Am

Then I was trapped in a cocoon

That felt more like a coffin

Then I started growing

Changing, sprouting like a seed

But change wasn’t done with me

I became like a cat 

With many lives

A crab as well as

A lion. Yet I can feel

Like a panther

Roaming a different jungle

The one of the mind

Outside of the ego

Ingenious, passionate, resilient

Who am I now?

A butterfly

Freely flying, feeling my best

A seed deeply rooted, growing 

Towards the sun

A crab who loves his shell

A lion

Strong in my identity to me

A panther, all of that

In shining silence

Like the moon reflecting the sun

On a body of water

Fluidly changing

Ever-growing

Fulfilled by love
